Requirements for participants and guests under 18
Vantage Golf Studio LLC • Zeeland, Michigan
Effective Date: October 2, 2026
Vantage Golf Studio is a largely self-service, 24/7 indoor golf facility that may operate without staff physically present. This policy establishes additional safeguards for minors. It supplements the Terms of Service and Facility Rules.
Children under 8 years old may not enter the simulator bay or participate in simulator activities unless Vantage has given prior written approval for a specific event, lesson, program, or accommodation. Minors ages 8 through 17 may enter and participate only when all requirements of this policy are satisfied.
Before a minor enters or participates, the minor must be registered by name and age, and a parent or legal guardian must complete Vantage’s required consent, risk acknowledgment, emergency-contact, and policy-acceptance process. An adult accompanying the minor is not automatically authorized to provide parental consent merely because the adult is a coach, relative, family friend, member, or reservation holder.
Nothing in this policy is intended to waive a minor’s own legal claim where Michigan law does not permit a parent or guardian to waive that claim.
A supervising adult must be at least 21 years old and must be the minor’s parent or legal guardian, or another adult specifically authorized by the parent or legal guardian through Vantage’s registration process. Vantage may separately approve coaches, instructors, school-team personnel, or program leaders for organized programs after appropriate parental permissions and program documentation are completed.
A supervising adult must remain physically onsite and actively responsible for the minor for the entire visit. Drop-offs are not permitted. The supervising adult may not leave the Facility while the minor remains inside, even temporarily.
One supervising adult may supervise no more than four minors during ordinary reservations unless Vantage gives prior written approval for an organized team, lesson, clinic, school program, or other supervised event.
Minors may not independently purchase memberships, make reservations, hold independent electronic access credentials, enter the Facility alone, or use another person’s access credentials. The supervising adult or approved program leader must control Facility access.
The supervising adult must ensure that the minor follows all Facility Rules, including remaining clear of the hitting area when another person is swinging, hitting only from the designated mat toward the screen, and refraining from horseplay or misuse of equipment.
A supervising adult must immediately stop a minor from participating if the minor cannot safely follow instructions or if the activity becomes unsafe.
Vantage may establish separate procedures for school golf teams, lessons, clinics, camps, or other organized programs. Those procedures may allow an approved coach or program leader to supervise minors, but only after Vantage receives the parental permissions, participant roster, emergency information, and other documentation Vantage requires. Program approval does not permit a coach to waive a parent’s or minor’s legal rights beyond what applicable law allows.
A current emergency contact for each minor must be available through the registration or program records. The supervising adult or program leader must promptly report any injury, unsafe condition, or significant incident to Vantage and call 911 when emergency assistance is needed.
Vantage may deny entry or require a minor and supervising adult to leave if registration or parental authorization is incomplete, supervision is inadequate, the minor violates safety rules, or continued presence creates a safety or operational concern.
Vantage may impose additional age, supervision, roster, waiver, or documentation requirements when required by its insurer, a school or program partner, or applicable law.
